Riders take their first laps as the snow continues to fall.

A few weeks back Red Bull and Oakley; with the muscle of The Summit at Snoqualmie Terrain Park had built a section of jibable city complete with lights, snow bar and a DJ. Through-out the day the Summit park crew worked hard putting the finishing touches on the feature while snow kept pouring down from the heavens.

Snowing at over an inch an hour the park groomed the run in's over and over through out the day but the riders couldn't get enough speed for a massive channel gap the would put them high above the city. No stranger to these situations Joe Pope said it best, "If you want it to snow... throw an event".

With the big air jumped closed for the night the contest continued and the riders took it too the streets. The second story balcony was a hot target and a definite crowd pleaser. By the end of the night the rider judged event the snowboard standings stood with Steffan Krumm in first, Austin Hironaka 2nd and tie for 3rd and 4th between Kevin Fischer and Aaron Cardwell.
